Guys, I’m legit geeking out over summer style finds right now. It’s like every brand is crushing it. I’m just so happy it’s finally summer.
When I curated my closet for this season (read about my process here), I took inventory of what I really need. So as I peruse all these fantastic new styles in stores and online, I’m focusing on what gaps I can fill on my Need List — mainly basics, fun blouses, and easy dresses for work.
But on my Lust List? Definitely things I don’t need, but would 100% spark joy. In my ShopMy Summer 2025, I’m adding new styles every day that I’m loving for both of those buckets: Need and Want — in case you're looking to add anything fresh to your summer wardrobe.
Straw Bucket Hat Trend
I saw this lewk on Siren’s on Netflix and couldn’t stop thinking about it - it’s just so quintessential American summer. This is the hat she wore on the episode. While I’m a large brim straw hat girl through and through, I have started to notice that the wide brim is kind of a pain in the ass while holding a toddler - inevitably smacking her in the face once or twice. This Bucket Hat Straw Hat trend seems more manageable while still offering sun protection and chic vibes. I went on a serious online hunt to find similar styles at different price points, and good news, there are a bunch:
Now I’m torn — do I invest in the high-quality version or test the waters with something more affordable? I’m not against spending a chunk of change on an investment piece. In fact, I’ve got a pretty awesome hat collection going, with a few that cost a pretty penny and have seriously stood the test of time. So… quality or trend test?!
Denim Dresses
This style is so clutch for Jackson Hole summers. Denim is the perfect fabric when mornings and nights are cool but summer days get hot. Plus, denim dresses always look fab with a pair of cowboy boots if you want to really play up the Western vibes. Depending on your shoes, you can get so many different looks with a denim dress.

Easy Summer Blouses
From classic striped button-downs to colorful flouncy peplum and bright prints, I find myself reaching for a blouse most mornings when I head out the door for work. They’re just so easy to pair with jeans, jhorts (jean shorts, obviously), or linen pants. I am looking to add FUN summer blouses and these are calling my name…
