spring break shopping
chic one-piece swimsuits, resort wear, and a new-to-me brand that's perfect for warm weather destinations.
With Spring Break just a few weeks away, I’m adding a lot to my cart. I’m heading to Naples, where my parents live, and luckily for me I keep a lot of clothes down there so I don’t need to pack a ton. Florida has it’s own vibe so some things just stay there for when I come to visit. I’m shopping for things to add to my Florida closet but will also be used in future warm weather destinations, like a potential 40th birthday trip this Fall!
I’ve been slowly adding pieces to my ShopMy Resort page if you want to see what’s catching my eye.
Let’s start with swimwear. I am all about investing in quality suits and there are so many chic ones out there for elder millennials (or anyone 🤪 ). Personally, I mainly look for high waisted bottoms and sexy one pieces. Here’s what I’ve found:
Stylest DreamSculpt One Piece - I’m a sucker for piping and a waisted belt on swimwear, it just elevates everything. I’ve been spammed on instagram with this suit and the sculpting technology has my interest piqued
Hunza G - A brand of swimwear that everyone raves about! Such fun colors too.
Shani Shemer Bikini - These dainty details are just so pretty.
Staud Maeve One Piece - Staud is absolutely killing it in the swimwear department this season! I love this with the option to remove straps. Currently 20% Off with SELECT20
Hunza G Bikini - A classic that’s one size fits most. Currently 20% Off with SELECT20
Staud Maeve One Piece - These retro stripes are calling me! Selling out fast.
Staud Jo Balconette Bikini - I am SWOONING over this one. Here is a link to the top and a link to the bottom.
Solid & Stripped Ribbed One Piece - A cult following swimwear line, so you know this will be good.
Summersalt One Piece - I have had this suit for 5 years and absolutely love it. It’s sculpting and holds everything in place and offers such fun colors.

Spring Break can’t get here fast enough! Like everyone else, I’m craving sunshine and flip flops. I am flying solo with Sully in 2 weeks so please send all of the good toddler travel love because it’s been eating at my anxiety the last few weeks - my gal does NOT like to sit still! Adding cute pieces to my cart is helping my mental health. Shopping Therapy, am I right?!
I just discovered this brand out of Dallas called Avara, have you heard of them? Maybe I’m late to the game but I have the following 6 pieces sitting in my cart, ready to be shipped to Florida, all for $460. That’s a steal in my eyes! While their collection as a whole doesn’t really scream my style per se, there are some individual pieces that I am really drawn to and are perfect for lunch dates with my parents at the country club. And everything seems to be priced affordably.
