The Ultimate Summer Dining Guide: Jackson Hole 2025
Date night, girls night, or family dinner — here’s where I’ve been eating (and loving) lately.

Maybe you are visiting Jackson Hole this summer, or maybe you’re a local who wants to stay in the know on the restaurant scene. I’ve had the pleasure of many dinners out this season and wanted to break it down for you — whether you’re planning a romantic date night, dinner with visiting parents, a casual family night with your kids, or a really fun girls night.
The restaurant scene has changed a lot in the last few years, while some of the forever staples we’ve come to love have stayed the same. For a small dot in the middle of Wyoming, I’m proud to say this town has some seriously excellent cuisine.
P.S. If you’re new here — welcome!
If so, I’m so glad you are. At one point in time, you gave me your email address. For a refresher on me….I live in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where I’m a real estate broker, influencer, and mom — and this Substack is where I share a mix of local finds, lifestyle favorites, and all the good sh*t I come across. Whether you’re planning a visit to Jackson or just love good food and travel recs, I hope you’ll stick around!

1. Wild Sage
Tucked inside the newly rebuilt Rusty Parrot Lodge, Wild Sage feels like one of Jackson’s best-kept secrets. After a devastating fire in 2019, the hotel and restaurant rose from the ashes — literally — and the new space is stunning. My husband and I recently took my mom there and dare I say… it might be my new favorite restaurant in town? Bold claim, I know, but everything was delicious. The menu is filled with locally inspired American fare and the cozy, romantic vibes make it perfect for date nights or girls’ night out. It’s definitely a splurge, but one that’s totally worth it. 🍽 Cuisine: Locally inspired American
🎯 Vibes: Romantic | Couples | Girls Night | Treat-Yourself Energy
💲 Price: It’s definitely a splurge, but a very worthy one.
What to order: Bison or veal chops (and definitely the house focaccia).
2. Shin Shin
Located inside Caldera House, Shin Shin recently welcomed a new chef — and with that, some seriously great changes. I visited when it first opened a few years ago and while the sushi was delicious, the vibe felt a bit intimidating. Fast forward to now, and the revamped menu is much more approachable, with something for everyone (not just the sushi purists!). Even better — they’ve moved the restaurant into the Caldera Member Lounge, which is open to the public for the summer months. Grab a table on the deck for a beautiful view of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort while you dine. A hidden gem that feels like a luxe escape in the heart of Teton Village. shinshinsushi.com
🍽 Cuisine: Sushi
🎯 Vibes: Romantic | Couples | Girls Night | Family Friendly
💲 Price: Pricey but not over the top.
What to order: Tuna crispy rice, waygu yakitori, any of the signature nigiri.
3. Corsa
Corsa is the spot I recommend for a fun dinner with friends who love good food, good cocktails, and a helluva good time. Located in Caldera House, the interiors are stylish and playful — especially the bar, which sets the tone for a lively evening. The menu is designed to be shared, and I mean it when I say I’ve tried everything… and loved every single dish. It’s modern Italian with a Jackson Hole twist, and somehow nails the balance between cozy and elevated 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 CorsaJH.com
🍽 Cuisine: Modern Italian
🎯 Vibes: Girls Night | Family Friendly | Couples
💲 Price: Moderate to Expensive.
What to order: Whipped Ricotta, stone-fired pizza, spicy vodka rigatoni.
4. Coe Tavern
What used to be Coelette is now the newly reimagined Coe Tavern — still nestled inside the historic Coe Cabin, still cozy as ever, but with a fresh twist. Think modern log cabin vibes meets elevated tavern fare. It’s the perfect spot to grab a fancy cocktail or dig into a really solid burger with friends. The rooftop deck is now open for the season and has the loveliest view of Snow King, making it an ideal place to unwind on a summer evening. CoeTavern.com
🍽 Cuisine: Upscale Tavern Fare
🎯 Vibes: Casual Cool | Locals Night | Date Night
💲 Price: Moderate
What to order: The burger, of course — and a craft cocktail to go with it
5. Snake River Grill
A Jackson Hole classic that can’t be beat. Snake River Grill has long been one of the most beloved fine dining spots in town — with a menu that hits just right every time and western-chic ambiance that’s cozy, elegant, and unmistakably Jackson. It’s tough to snag a reservation, so book early if you can. That said, the bar is first-come, first-serve and has a fun, lively vibe all its own — great for people-watching and last-minute plans. This is one of our go-to spots for special occasions or whenever we have guests in town — it’s truly a signature Jackson Hole experience. snakerivergrill.com
🍽 Cuisine: Modern American Grill
🎯 Vibes: Romantic | Couples | Girls Night | Treat-Yourself Energy
💲 Price: Expensive
What to order: Pork Pappardelle Doppio, New York Strip, and always finish with the iconic Eskimo Bars.
6. Dornan’s
If you want something super casual, family-friendly, and served with the most jaw-dropping views around, Dornan’s Pizza is your best bet. Located inside Grand Teton National Park in Moose (about 15 minutes north of town), it’s a favorite post-hike or after-the-park stop. The pizzas are solid — I actually prefer their gluten-free crust — and the wide-open deck overlooking the Snake River with the Tetons as your backdrop is unbeatable. For families, the daily Chuckwagon dinners are a major hit with little kids. Before you leave, pop into their wine shop — it has one of the best selections in all of Wyoming. dornans.com
🍽 Cuisine: Super casual pizza & pub fare
🎯 Vibes: Family Friendly | Après-Hike
💲 Price: Moderate
What to order: Mount Owen Pizza with a locally tapped brew
7. Billy’s Burgers
If you’re looking for a quick dinner with the kids, Billy’s Burgers is your best bet. Now located in the newly renovated Virginian Lodge, this Jackson classic has a fresh new home. Longtime locals might remember the original Billy’s inside the old Cadillac on Town Square — and yes, the same mouth-watering burgers live on thanks to the original recipes being sold and carried into this next chapter. It’s a casual, order-at-the-counter setup (which makes it easy with toddlers in tow). Pro tip: Grab your food and head to the hotel’s courtyard — the kids can run around while you enjoy your burger in peace. BillysBurgersJH.com
🍽 Cuisine: Classic Burgers & Fries
🎯 Vibes: Family Friendly | Quick & Casual | Post-Hike Fuel
💲 Price: Affordable
What to order: The OG cheeseburger, waffles fries, and a milkshake if you’re going all in.
8. Kampai
I can say with full honesty: Kampai is the only Japanese restaurant in the U.S. that truly feels like you’re dining in Japan. The attention to detail, the authenticity of the sushi, the calm, minimalist ambiance — it all honors the tradition beautifully. It’s a total splurge, yes (be prepared to drop big bucks), but the experience is fabulous. In the summer, grab a seat on the rooftop deck and enjoy the most glorious views of Snow King and the Town of Jackson while sipping sake and savoring top-tier sashimi. KampaiJH.com
🍽 Cuisine: Japanese Omakase & Sushi
🎯 Vibes: Romantic | Special Occasion | Sophisticated Night Out
💲 Price: Expensive
What to order: Omakase, uni if it's available, and one of their seasonal sashimi selections
9. Snake River Brewery
After hiking the Grand Teton (yes, the whole thing), this was the only spot we craved — local beers and solid bar food to bring us back to life. Snake River Brewery is a Jackson Hole staple for good reason. Their beer selection is brewed in-house and hands-down the best in town. The vibe is super laid-back, with a big outdoor yard that makes it perfect for families, post-adventure hangouts, or casual meetups with friends. SnakeRiverBrewing.com
🍽 Cuisine: Elevated pub food
🎯 Vibes: Après-Hike | Family Friendly | Casual Hang
💲 Price: Moderate
What to order: SRB Burger, watermelon salad, and whatever’s on tap — you can’t go wrong.
10. Calico
My favorite place to take my toddler when I want to enjoy a good meal and also let her run wild in the yard. You’ll usually find us here early on weekends — one of us chasing Sully across the big lawn while the other sneaks a few bites. It’s the ultimate kid-friendly spot and the food is genuinely delicious. Their pizzas are always a hit, and if you can snag a seat at the bar, the Bar Chicken is legendary. Add in their spicy margaritas, and you’ve got the perfect mix of grown-up fun and family vibes. It’s our go-to for group hangs on the Westbank. CalicoRestaurant.com
🍽 Cuisine: Italian-American
🎯 Vibes: Family Friendly | Group Dinners | Casual Date Night
💲 Price: Moderate
What to order: Bar Chicken (in the bar only!), bruschetta, the ski bum pizza, and a spicy marg to wash it all down
